Should close as Won't Fix.

Expected behavior is for default sorting to use the same as source. In this case, animepahe has first episode on top and last at the bottom:

User can change the default sort from the app, this is not a repo/extension issue.

I think extensions uses this page to get Episode list

So can be fixable

fair enough, I'll let others "fix" it considering user can change the ordering from app anyway.

It's not only about the cosmetic ordering of episodes.
It breaks many things, for example :

  • i can't watch episodes one after the other because the don't follow, i need to return to the list and click the next one
  • i can' use a tracker because aniyomi can't figure out which episodes i watched

user ordering are carried over to the player.

  1. I changed to sort by episode number (desc)

  2. player's next track is enabled

  3. the same order applied to the playlist on player:

I noticed you're using aniyomi preview while I'm using aniyomi stable. If the custom ordering on the anime info isn't applied to the player's playlist on preview then you should report that as a bug to aniyomi team.
