None of their official sites are working and their one & only video hosting server have been down for months.
As there's no official shutdown notice, will be marked as Inactive until further notice.

Checklist:

  • Updated extVersionCode value in build.gradle for individual extensions
  • Updated overrideVersionCode or baseVersionCode as needed for all multisrc extensions
  • Referenced all related issues in the PR body (e.g. "Closes #xyz")
  • Added the isNsfw = true flag in build.gradle when appropriate
  • Have not changed source names
  • Have explicitly kept the id if a source's name or language were changed
  • Have tested the modifications by compiling and running the extension through Android Studio
  • Have removed web_hi_res_512.png when adding a new extension
  • Have made sure all the icons are in png format

I hesitated to remove it too at first, but then I thought if new users to the repo install it and see that it's broken, they would submit an issue (without searching, like has been happening again and again). By removing it, at least only old users would complain.

New users would not know it exists in the first place, though they might request it to be added...

That is true but there are also some people who will make source request for it so removing it will not solve the issue creating problem

It may reduce it, new users would need to know that they can make a request, know where to make a request and create github account for it.

I'm hoping most of them would settle with other extensions that are already available before they start asking for it.

That might work, but Broken implies it need fixing. How about On Hiatus (to borrow from manga terms) or Inactive?

idk man, the past few months since I started being active observing this project have lowered my expectations on people's ability to read and comprehend long text.

that official dramacool announcement? someone literally replied it's a lie because the fakes exists: https://xcancel.com/jjuu11een/status/1861729536036962558

I doubt warning such person about fakes would get through their numb skulls, maybe let's try this first?

I’m choosing option 1 because there’s still a chance they might come back or rebrand. If they do, the site structure will likely stay the same, making it easier for maintainers to work on

Removing it entirely is best, and if it does come back, the code for it isn't entirely gone the git history will still be there
